The concert so totally rocked!!! Well... mostly at the back. The songs in front were played quite okay but still kind of depressing. I don't know why, but those songs reminded me of my last day in Kong Hwa. Very very depressing...
SO... At the back when almost everyone thought that the concert was over... PEOPLE SHOUTED," ENCORE! ENCORE!" Well, since it is over, I shall tell everyone. The encore shouting and stuff was PLANNED. HAHAHA.
So the conductor pretended to hesitate and played the song again. AND THE FUNNY GUY CAME OUT... with his remote control thingy... There was PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, FAST FORWARD, SLOW DOWN, NEXT, BACK, LOUDER, SOFTER, "FORGOT", BASE and SURROUND SYSTEM 'buttons'. Gosh... it was freaking hilarious.
After that, they brought out a cake. Turns out...it was String Ensemble's 15th anniversary. No wonder they kept playing the happy birthday song... When they brought out the cake, the candles were not lighted... HAHAHA. The emcee announced that their lighter apparently MALFUNCTIONED, so they will have to make do with an unlighted cake. Invited the Principal and vice-Principal on stage and blahs... Before the Principal cut the cake, he personally asked again if anyone had a lighter with them... turns out that no one has it. SO it goes something like that," So are you sure nobody has a lighter in the house? Well then, we just have to do with unlit candles..." SOMETHING LIKE THAT. You know my memory... He sounded so disappointed... HAHAHA. So they gave the Principal and vice-Principal flowers... as usual. They gave the conductor a big cuddly bear which she used to conduct after the serious business and all. SO CUTE! The bear was dancing around!
So the concert finally ended after the thanking of teachers and blah... They played some music to sort of say bye to the people. Unexpectedly, those DODOs didn't know that they were supposed to leave already and sat there and clapped like idiots. OKAY. I was one of them but I did know that I was supposed to leave. Just joining in the fun, can't I? I AM STILL YOUNG, RIGHT VALERIE KOH?
I hope I can remember the concert forever.
In conclusion, I LOVE YOU, XINYU!!! Thanks for pestering me till I bought that awesome ticket from you. I LOVE THE CONCERT.

p.s. OLD movies like "Annie" and "Curly Top" are really good.( I watched them recently...) Though their quality isn't very good or have no colour, they are really happy movies. :)

p.p.s. The $20++ BBF magazine is not there anymore! NOOO!!! Guess I will just have to borrow from my cousin... :)
